Bob Latham Collinder[]
Robert Latham Collinder was a minor character from Divided We Fall. He was the one who assassinated President Rodriguez with a high-powered rifle.
Biography[]
Collinder is first mentioned in Chapter 24, after being killed in a shootout with the Secret Service. His intentions of killing Rodriguez are explained in Chapter 25, two weeks after the assassination. He left a letter in his apartment back at Philadelphia, explaining how the president was destroying the country, and how only he can save the world from Rodriguez. Even though Daniel thought he was "a world-class nutjob acting alone", most people blamed the assassination on the Idaho Crisis.
